‘In a Minute’ (I co-wrote this one with Krischan Grohne and Dane Deviller) is one of the finalists in the 2009 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) - R&B/Hip-Hop category! The finalists were chosen out of approximately 15,000 entrants. Very excited…

The winner of the People’s Voice is in addition to, and completely separate from, the regular winners who will be selected by the prestigious ISC judging panel. The People’s Voice is judged solely by public vote.

My song ‘Fire & Flame’ was a first place winner in the R’n'B/Hip Hop category at the ISC 2008.

This song has had a very nice life so far – born in the PEAK Boot Camp, produced by the Vancouver based but world renowned songwriter/producer Dane Deviller, mixed by Roger Swan (K-OS, Swollen Members), and mastered by Tom Coyne (Remy Shand, Sade, Amy Winehouse) at Sterling Sound in New York City! Can’t wait to share it with all you guys! Soon, soon, soon…

Peak Performance Project – PLEASE VOTE for us!!

Hi everyone!

For those of you who don’t know, The PEAK Performance Project is a seven-year, $5.29 million contest open to all musicians in British Columbia. The project was created by 100.5 The PEAK and Music BC to develop BC based emerging artists.Every year, twenty finalists from BC will receive an intensive, one week training program in the music business, live performance, songwriting, marketing and promotion. Of these twenty artists, the top three will be crowned as the PEAK Performers of the year.

The first prize is $150,000, the second $75,000, and the third $50,000.

We have been lucky enough to be in the top twenty this first year of the program. So, 20% of our final mark and chance to win the contest is on-line voting by you guys!
