Hello everyone! We’ve made our way back to Van City from Ontario where we have performed a showcase at the Canadian Music Week and played a few more shows in Toronto, Mississauga, and Windsor. A few highlight: we’ve met some cool people at the CMW conference, I got to play a 9-foot Steinway Grand Piano at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, and had a pleasure of playing with very talented Toronto musicians.
Since we’ve been back, there has been some thought-gathering, song-writing, and planning… Good things come in threes. Stay tuned.
You can read a review of our CMW showcase here (Thanks Olivia D’Orazio!):

A few months ago, we were invited to perform two shows in Haida Gwaii (formerly know as the Queen Charlotte Islands, northern BC). I had no idea what to expect and was completely blown away. We arrived by ferry and were driven across the island to a beautiful home with no actual address or a town name. Just – a rural community. Over the next few days, we performed 2 practically sold-out shows, hiked up the Tow Hill trail through rainforest to the breathtaking lookout of the open ocean and rocky shoreline below, and made friends with our amazing hosts Elizabeth and her 9 year-old marine biology expert grandson Taimen.

Our short but poignant Haida Gwaii experience sure gave a whole new meaning to the phrase “Edge of the Earth”.

We had to remove the other version of “In a Minute” from the site as it will be released, sometime this January, on a compilation CD through Street Sounds UK. Please stay tuned for more details on this exciting development.

Hey everyone! We’re back to Van City and there is so much to write – I’ll try to keep it concise…

New York: I love you. We love you. I think this sums up our trip pretty well… Trying to describe this city is like trying to write about why melting a piece of Lindt orange dark chocolate on your tongue just feels sooo good. Impossible. The show at Bar on A, however, went amazing. The owner, the staff, and the people were so warm, friendly, and awesome. Thank you so much for having us! We really hope to come back and see you again very soon.

I also wanted to say that due to temporary financial obstacles we weren’t able to hold to our promise of a summer 2010 album release. BUT, we do have 3 new, unreleased demos available for you to hear! Please take a listen and let us know your thoughts!

Stay tuned. More exciting news and music to come…
